For the past few months, Zeitwerk has been tracking and supporting the development and launch of the new navigation tool Becker® MAP PILOT, having been involved from the start. Developed through a collaboration between HARMAN and Mercedes-Benz, this navigation solution combines the advantages of a mobile navigation system with a fixed installation, and despite its full integration in the vehicle’s electronics, it can be easily updated on a PC at any time.

Working closely with the project’s various participants and departments, Zeitwerk conceived and realised a shop system that can be accessed not only online through the domain www.beckermappilot.com, but also through the Becker Content Manager developed by Elektrobit Automotive GmbH. The shop’s contents are administered by the easy-to-use Content Management System, which has been tailored to the client’s needs.

Beyond conception, design and programming, Zeitwerk also provided comprehensive consultation services in various areas, while assisting HARMAN in ensuring maximum quality.

In addition, Zeitwerk developed and realised various print products, including a brochure explaining the “Becker®MAP PILOT” to the end user in just a few steps, and in six languages.

Zeitwerk will continue tracking the content management and further development of this new product, while also supporting and expanding the online shop, including further country-specific versions.
